Expectations:
Coordinates donor center collections staff. Supervise blood collection at fixed and/or mobile sites to ensure an efficient, effective and compliant process. Supervises staff, creates a team environment and provides leadership needed to maintain customer safety and satisfaction during the blood collection process. Supports and enforces established policies and procedures, objectives, quality improvement projects, safety, environment of care and infection control guidelines. Performs duties in any nursing capacity as needed. Is the on-site/mobile site supervisor for all go-to-issues by staff, physicians, donors and patients. This position may require flexibility of hours.
EDUCATION:
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
Minimum 3 years clinical experience required. 3 years experience in a Blood Donor Center setting preferred.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Required:
Current unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN)
Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) issued by American Heart Association

Pay Range: The estimated base rate for this position is $128,322.00 - $195,698.00.
Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.

Yes, you do need to submit an application for each employment opportunity that you are interested in. The good news is that once you submit the first application, our applicant tracking system saves all of your information in your account. When you apply for another position, click "Use My Last Application". After you log in to your account, the system will auto populate the current application with the information from your last application, which can then be modified if needed.
On the sign in page, click on the "Forgot your password?" link. Enter the email you used to create the account and click the "Reset Password" button. An email will be sent with reset instructions.
You will receive an email confirming receipt of your online application. You can also confirm the receipt by signing into your account and clicking the Candidate Home tab on the top right of the screen. Once your application is received, it will be listed under the Submitted Applications section.

After an offer of employment is extended and accepted, a comprehensive background investigation will be conducted. Once we receive the results, you will then be scheduled for a health audit. Offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of the background investigation, health audit, and drug screen.
