Compensation Range:

Anticipated compensation range of $40.00 – $48.00 / Hour depending on qualifications and experience.

Department:

846000 Plant Maintenance

Expectations:

Works directly with the Plant Services manager and the Associate Director on all electrical repairs and maintenance. Responsible to supervise and assign work to Maintenance Electrical Journeyman and other maintenance personnel. Performs highly skilled maintenance, installation, repair and troubleshooting of all electrical systems, including low voltage.

EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
Minimum ten (10) years as a journeyman electrician, with trade school, military service, or equivalent training, preferably in a hospital setting.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Required:
Current California (CA) Driver's License
Current Journey Level PS certificate issued by City of Los Angeles Dept. of Building and Safety

Preferred:
C-10 license by Department of Industrial Relations

SKILLS:
Knowledge of the trade practices and electrical codes, and ability to supervise and train others in their use.
Knowledge of materials and their applications.
Ability to read and follow blueprint and services manuals.
Basic knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.
Basic working knowledge of BAS.
Good communication skills and a collaborative problem solver.
