Compensation Range:

Anticipated compensation range of $24.00 – $28.80 / Hour depending on qualifications and experience.

Expectations:

This person is responsible for answering telephones, managing paperwork, and collecting patient history, labs, and allergies, etc. from the department computer systems. The ability to provide support to the Technologist by assisting in positioning and transporting patients to and from the Radiology Department, MRI Trailer and the ED. The ability to manage multiple priorities and demands on time, while remaining calm in a busy department. Providing patient care with compassion, courtesy, and respect are required for this position. The ability to complete multiple tasks with a high level of accuracy and ensure quality communication. Ability to manage shifting priorities with frequent interruptions is a required skill. The ability to promote a positive teamwork through excellent attendance, great attitude, and spirit of cooperation. The ability to keep both patient and business information confidential and comply with HIPAA. This position may require flexibility of hours.

EDUCATION:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Active enrollment in a college based Radiologic Technology program or nursing program is preferred

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
Three to five years experience working in Radiology Department is preferred.
Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Required:
Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) issued by American Heart Association

SKILLS:
Strong knowledge of EMR for scheduling.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Assists in ordering and stocking supplies.
