Compensation Range:

Anticipated Base compensation rate is in the range of $81.43 – $96.70 / Hour depending on qualifications and experience.

Expectations:

Supervises and coordinates the delivery of pharmaceutical care to patients of the outpatient oncology infusion center. Pharmaceutical care is the evaluation, distribution, and monitoring of prescribed therapy which provide positive patient outcomes. Will serve as the subject matter expert for oncology-related clinical therapeutics. Maintains current California Pharmacist license.

EDUCATION:
PharmD degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy.

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
Completion of a PGY1 residency or equivalent practice experience A PGY2 residency in oncology is preferred.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Required:
Current unrestricted Registered Pharmacist license (RPH) issued by the California State Board of Pharmacy
Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) issued by American Heart Association

Preferred:
Oncology Pharmacy Certification

SKILLS:
Aseptic Technique, Chemotherapy Compounding Certification, Competency in specialized equipment (e.g. IV workflow software).
