Compensation Range:

Anticipated Base compensation rate is in the range of $127,920.00 – $153,500.00 / Year depending on qualifications and experience.

Expectations:

Huntington Health is seeking a Leadership Giving Associate Director to join its Philanthropy team. Reporting to the Executive Director, Philanthropy and Public Affairs, the Leadership Giving Associate Director is responsible for the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of leadership annual gifts. Through ongoing engagement using multi-channel approaches, the Associate Director will qualify and solicit individuals capable of making leadership gifts of $2,000 to $24,999. This person will also manage the President’s Circle and will concentrate their efforts on the acquisition, renewal and increase of leadership-level gifts, thus growing financial support of the hospital year-over-year and strengthening the base of future major donors.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree or combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education required.

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
Minimum five years of professional experience in nonprofit, healthcare, higher education, arts advancement/development required. Experience with using fundraising CRM systems as a part of their daily work, Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT preferred. Knowledge of the principles and practices of development and fundraising with an understanding of individual giving programs, such as direct mail, and personal solicitation programs.

SKILLS:
Demonstrated skill in adapting to and performing work effectively in high-volume, high accountability, confidential environment with multiple and changing priorities. Ability to adapt to a variety of cultures and customs to engage donors and potential donors in philanthropic conversations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), shared files documents, Adobe Acrobat, and other programs applicable to position responsibilities. Effective organizational, logistical, time management and planning skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks/projects simultaneously, prioritize and fulfill the functions of an office in a timely manner. Ability to self-motivate and work independently. Ability to provide effective leadership and training, and to work effectively and professionally across functions, disciplines, levels, and with diverse groups. Demonstrated ability to be detail-oriented and thorough; skilled at anticipating and preventing potential problems and handling a wide variety of tasks with efficiency and accuracy. Strong commitment to a quality work product. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate verbally, in writing and electronically. Effective interpersonal skills as evidenced in the ability to collaborate with a variety of constituencies.
