Expectations:

Responsible for assisting the Department Manager in supervising, planning, coordinating and evaluating patient care and employee performance. Ensures effective unit operation and supports staff with challenging issues, assists with care coordination and serves as first line on-site support/resource for employees, physicians and patients. Meets all job requirements of the Registered Nurse. This position requires flexibility of hours.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Master’s of Science in Nursing required. Master’s Degree preferred. Diploma or transcripts on highest degree earned required.

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
Minimum 3 years clinical experience, 5 years preferred, with 2 years of current experience in area of expertise/equivalent service area; leadership experience preferred.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Required:
Current unrestricted CA Registered Nurse (RN) License issued by the CA Board of Registered Nursing(BRN)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider, Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider (ACLS) Provider issued by The American Heart Association
Current National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification within 30 days of transfer/hire

Pay Range: The estimated base rate for this position is $132,136.00 – $201,514.00.

Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
