Compensation Range:

Anticipated compensation range of $99,840.00 – $119,810.00 / Year depending on qualifications and experience.

Expectations:

The Process Excellence Specialist supports Huntington Health’s operational excellence efforts by applying Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) principles and methodologies to drive measurable improvements across the organization. This position plays a key role in the development and advancement of the Huntington Health Operating System, functioning as an analyst, facilitator, trainer, and mentor. The role includes data abstraction, outcomes analysis, process improvement facilitation, and policy database management in alignment with regulatory and accreditation requirements.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Healthcare, or related field required.
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
Minimum two (2) years of experience facilitating performance improvement projects or workshops, preferably in Healthcare setting.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Preferred:
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) issued by by the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) or related certification.
Current unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN).

SKILLS:
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel / data analysis tools (e.g., run charts, control charts)
Understanding of healthcare quality and safety principles
Knowledge of hospital operations, clinical workflows, and accreditation requirements
Change management and culture-building support skills
