Compensation Range:

Anticipated Base compensation rate is in the range of $49.56 – $73.72 / Hour depending on qualifications and experience.

*12 hour shifts at Huntington Health are overtime-based (not a straight time rate for all 12 hours). Therefore, employees who work a full 12-hour shift will be paid their base rate for 8 hours AND overtime (1.5) for hours up to 12.

Expectations:

Practices in accordance with the philosophy, policies, procedures, and standards of the hospital, functions within the guidelines of the protocols for the transport program. Represents Huntington Health to health care providers in referring hospitals. Provide family centered care including psychological support, education and transfer planning in collaboration with referring staff. Maintains effective communication with referral staff and families.

EDUCATION:
For transport team members hired before 9/1/2015 Graduate from an accredited nursing program. For new team members BSN or higher required.

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
Requires minimum 3 years NICU experience. Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Required:
Current unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN)
Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) issued by American Heart Association
Current Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP)
Fellowship Program: Current Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) within 6 months of hire/transfer

Preferred:
Current Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing (RNC-NIC) Certification
