Compensation Range:

Anticipated Base compensation rate is in the range of $49.39 – $61.67 / Hour depending on qualifications and experience.

Expectations:

Under direct physician supervision, assists during diagnostic and therapeutic intervention procedures such as angiograms, angioplasties, stent placements, ASD/PFO closures, Watchman, TAVR and other structural heart procedures, CRM device placements and removals. Assists in the training and oversight of students when applicable. Knowledgeable in use/application of Cardiac PACS and monitoring. This position may require flexibility of hours. This position requires the ability to take on-call for patients requiring emergency cardiovascular procedures.

EDUCATION:
Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
One year experience in special procedure radiology or cardiac catheterization.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Required:
Current Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) issued by California Department of Public Health (CDPH)
Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Fluoroscopy Permit issued by California Department of Public Health (CDPH)
Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification issued by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) issued by American Heart Association

SKILLS:
Knowledge of computers, anatomy, physiology, safety hazards common to Cardiac Cath Lab equipment used, body mechanics, isolation procedures and body fluid precautions. Knowledge and handling of supplies and their location necessary for Cardiac Cath Lab procedures. Skilled in properly positioning/prepping patients and in equipment operation in order to provide quality images. Ability to work with minimum supervision within the guidelines set up by the department. Must be willing and able to work in a face paced, frequently changing environment.
