RN New Graduate Intern Training Program.
Launch your nursing career at Huntington Hospital, and learn the latest treatment
modalities using state-of-the-art equipment and technologies. This exciting program
will be customized to suit your individual needs, and includes up to 18 weeks of
comprehensive orientation of didactic, supervised and unit-based clinical experience.
You will work and learn in a highly interactive team environment under the guidance
of skilled preceptors. We focus on your professional development through free continuing
education units, training, and collaboration. This unique program also gives you
an exceptional opportunity to spend time in ancillary service departments, and participate
in extensive training on our computerized documentation system and case studies/group
learning.
The Registered Nurse Intern Training program is offered twice a year during the summer and winter quarters and provides opportunities are available in the following areas:

For New Graduates possessing an Interim Permit, Huntington Hospital provides the
opportunity to participate in our NCLEX review program upon hire. Utilizing the
same methodology as the National Council of State Boards of Nursing, our Learning
Management System uses a highly effective, Computerized Adaptive Testing technique
and is fully sponsored by Huntington Hospital.

Loan Forgiveness Program.
We also offer a Loan Forgiveness Program featuring a $15,000 scholarship that will
be awarded to fourth semester, graduating BSN, nursing students hired to work at
Huntington Hospital. Applicants must demonstrate financial need, academic ability,
and a desire to become outstanding in the field of nursing. You must have a CA RN
license, GPA of 3.0, two recommendation letters from professors and/or previous
employers, proof of loan commitment, and completion of application for eligibility.
